Suchita's work has been published in Live Wire India, Brave Voices Magazine, Hooligan Magazine, WayWords Literary Journal and Ice Lolly Review among others.

She reads submission for Frontier Poetry.

 

She has worked on several projects with UNICEF through Voices of Youth. Her poems, quotes and photography have been featured by the worldwide organisation. She was a student of the Youth Mediathon 2021 under the mentorship of UNICEF members and two renowned poets, INQ-Life and Atticus. Through this project, Suchita and her team birthed A Mixtape For Hope

She volunteered as Staff Writer for Outlander Zine for two years. She contributed short stories to the online magazine every month. Apart from that, she has contributed to The Lab where she interviews acclaimed and rising creatives.

 

She volunteered as Staff Blogger for The Poetry Cove where she ran a monthly prompt blog series. More than writing poetry, she loves reading the poems that were inspired by her prompts.

 

Her team, The CUBS, won the Group Writer Challenge 2021 at The Writer's Workout. She won Second Runner Up at the Writing Hat January 2022 Contest for the theme of New Beginnings. She has also won several Instagram Poetry Contests. She was nominated for Author of the Week Awards by StoryMirror twice and is the recipient of several peer-based Blogger Awards.

She participated in the United Nations Sweden's Kids Hack the Crisis Challenge and was the Founder of the team Student Emp-ty, a group of 3 students from India, Nigeria, and Polland. She helped with the digital, and writing aspects of their project. 

 

Suchita Senthil Kumar is a writer creating chaos from Bengaluru, India. Her work has been published in Live Wire India, Shot Glass Journal and Honey Literary among others. When not writing, she can be found reading submissions for Frontier Poetry. She makes life decisions asking herself one question: Will Sirius Black be proud?
